this has stopped

but it took me a while to get my computer back alive again after it tried to commit suicide. Back to life, dammit!!!! 3 days of conversations with another continent and the insertion of a new harddrive that Dell originally didn't think I needed and I am finally back up and running. My original warranty is set to run out on March 12th. Could the drive have timed its demise any better?

My notebook lacks Picassa, photoshop, and camera interface software and unless this continues past Tuesday, I am not loading all of that over here. I hope the Dell technician who is coming here next week is very, very nervous.
