The orchids I saved from the trash
several years ago are really putting on a show this year. Even with all the snow and the awesome cold and the wind blowing through the windows, this one has bloomed on two stalks for the past 5 MONTHS!!!!!
This photo was from September 4 of 2014 you can see the green trees still behind the orchid...
and these are from yesterday, snow and all....
it looks like it is good for a while yet!
This one hasn't been blooming quite as long,,,, only about 3 months, but still going.
